Hilton Luxor Resort is a five star resort with 236 rooms at New Karnak, on the east bank about ten minutes north of the town centre, the Nile in front of it and the west bank hills across the water. Karnak Temple is 2.4 km down the road, Luxor Museum 3.3 km and Luxor Temple 4.4 km. The Valley of the Kings is 8 km across the river and the airport 8 km inland, and the resort runs a shuttle.

Twelve room types run from a 28 m2 guestroom to a 98 m2 spa suite, several looking straight over the river, each with a balcony, air conditioning, a minibar, a kettle, a laptop safe and a flat-screen TV, with bathrobes and slippers laid out. There are two outdoor pools, one an infinity pool kept for adults, and a spa with a thermal bath, a steam room, a sauna, hot tubs and a long treatment list. The grounds hold a garden with a picnic area and a barbecue, a golf course, badminton, darts and table tennis, and there are yoga and fitness classes and a cooking class. Parking is free on site and pets are welcome for a fee, with a basket and bowls provided. Check-in runs from 14:00 to midnight and check-out from 12:00 to 13:00.

We loved our stay here at Hilton Luxor. Great staff and great facilities. Every one here is very accommodating and friendly. They helped us with hotel pick up and all enquires we had during our stay which made it comfortable and convenient. The hotel itself is located in a great spot just short ride away from Luxor temple and Karnak temple. Definitely recommend.
